Welcome!

The purpose of this blog is to bring awareness, experience, and education about bipolar disorder and mental illness. There is a lot of stigma that surrounds the struggle with mental health and this is my tiny step in trying to tear away at that wall that stands between us and seeking help. I hope that you will laugh and learn but also see that you are not alone and that there is solidarity, strength, and support in raw, open vulnerability. Welcome to my journey. May it inspire your own.

  2. More, please... I was wondering, when one is experiencing a high or a low, are they typically self-aware that it's happening, or does the awareness fade at the extremum and start to return only as they approach a state of balance?
